Bacterization of soybean seeds from both Bradyrhizobium japonicum strains (D 344 and Hup+2) influenced significantly the number of nodules per plant and the weight of their dry matter. The use of D 344 strain for the bacterization resulted in a greater number of nodules per plant in comparison with the Hup+2 strain while the weight of dry matter per plant was greater in almost all soybean varieties when using the HN+2 strain for the bacterization. The differences in both cases were not significant. Significant differences in the number of nodules per variety were established. Bacterization caused significantly higher mass of 1000 seeds and higher content of proteins in the seed in all the investigated varieties.
