Animal feeding improvement by introduction of Atriplex sp. on arid land of Mediterranean countries

On the basis of the obtained results it could be concluded that all the three investigated plant species of the Atriplex genus (A. halimmus, A. nummularia and A. canescens) can significantly improve sheep feeding in the arid regions of the degraded pastures. It is also important to choose appropriate feed composition.
