1986
Krajinovic, M. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Novi Sad (Yugoslavia)) | Markovic, N.
The investigation deals with effects of 3 concentrated mixtures, 1. 10% of soybean meal and 10% of skimmed milk powder; 2. 9% of soybean meal, 4% of soybean flour and 5% of skimmed milk powder; 3. 9% of soybean meal 7% of soybean flour. 45 lambs were chosen and divided into 3 groups. On the basis of the achieved results (daily gains and consumption of feed, energy and digestible crude proteins per kg of gain) it could be concluded that the best results were obtained in the second group, i.e. the group which consumed mixture with 9% of soybean meal, 4% of soybean flour, 5% of skimmed milk powder. The worst results were obtained in the first group, i.e. group which consumed mixture with 10% of soybean meal, 10% of skimmed milk powder. The achieved results have proved that soybean proteins could be a successful substitute for milk proteins in young lamb fattening.
