Compatible and incompatible graft formation in cultured explanted internodes of three leguminous species [Glycine max, Pisum sativum and Vigna sinensis]

Compatible and incompatible graft formation could be obtained in vitro between three leguminous species, Glycine max Pisum sativum and Vigna sinensis. These leguminous species showed a similar but slower graft development in vitro than in vivo. The dissimilar patterns of vascular differentiation observed between compatible and incompatible combinations was significant.
