Effect of drainage water irrigation on gypsum contents in soil [of Uzbekistan, USSR]

The experiment was carried out in soil monoliths with undisturbed structures which were taken from the Hunger steppe of Uzbekistan, USSR. The study was done both in the field and laboratory conditions of the All Union Scientific Cotton Research Institute of the Centra Asia. On the basis of the results of the experiment it was assumed that saline drainage water leaches more gypsum contents from soil than the river water does.
