Field experiments were established in South Tahrir Section study the efffect of different irrigation schedules along (irrigation every 4, 8 and 12 days before and after flowering) with three sowing date (at 10, 30 April and 20 May) on growth, yield and its components of peanut plants. All growth and yield parameters were adversely affected by increasing the irrigation intervals. Maximum values were obtained by irrigation every 4 days throughout the growing season and minimum ones were obtained by irrigation significantly the yield parameters, whereas late sowing date decreased them. Other growth parameters like plant height, length of main stem, number of branches and dry weight of plant did not change significantly.
