A study of the production records of the native cow breed belonging to the Experimental Station of the University of Alexandria during the years 1959-1985 was carried out. Heifers under study were divded into two groups according to system of weaning. The results obtained were as follows: - System of weaning had highly significant effect on age at first service and age at conception, while significant effect was found for number of services and length of service period. - Results obtained showed that milk yield increased in early and late weaned cows, when lactation length increases. -Highly significant correlations between body weight at first calving and milk yield was observed (o.484) for early weaned cows, while significant correlation (0.214) was found for late weaned ones.
