The effect of the soil lime content on the nutrient uptake and yield of peach trees
1989
Szucs, E.
Data of fertilization experiment carried out on peach seedling of Dixired variety in 6 x 4 m space, on pseudomyceliar calcareous chernozem loam soil were evaluated by factor and cluster analysis. First of all in this paper effects of 2. factor (lime) are evaluated by regression analysis carried out with cluster means. The lime has negative effect on the phosphorus content of peach leaves and that of the soil. In the determination of correlations the phosphorus dissolved by EUF-method gaves better results than the AL-soluble P. The higher lime content decreases the yield and potassium uptake. These negative effects can be moderated by potassium fertilization.
