1986
Abu-Blan, H. | Nazer, I. (Jordan Univ., Amman (Jordan))
An experiment was carried out at the University Farm, Central Jordan Valley, for the control of downy mildew disease on cucumber under plastic house. The efficacy of 6 fungicides at recommended rates by the manufacturers was tested in comparison with the check. It was conducted in a completely randomized block design. Results indicated that all tested fungicides were significantly different than the check at 5% level of DMRT. Also, the two fungicides Ridomil and Daconil were highly effective in the control of downy mildew disease when used at the rates of 1 and 2.25 g/l, respectively. Also, they were highly effective in the reduction of infected plants and the area of infected leaf. The yield of plants sprayed with the two fungicides was highly significant than that of the check
