There was made an estimation of the radial spread of six species of Fusarium in tubers of 10 varieties of potatoes treated with 5 fungicides. It was stated that there was an essential differentiation in the radial spread of the pathogen into the tubers of the varieties examined. The species showing the quickest growth on the potato tubers was Fusarium sulphureum, whereas Fusarium coeruleum - the slowest. Fusarium species used in the experiment differently responded to the fungicides applied. A significant interaction of 2-line (varieties x species x fungicide) was observed
