Effect of NAA application on the growth, yield and content of some constituents in apples of cultivar Bancroft

NAA effected a decrease of mass and number of sprouts as well as their mean length. In the latter case Funaben 3 + NAA reduced growth more strongly than the mixture of latex paint and NAA. NAA had no significant effect of the mean length of internodes, on total yield, on the mass of 100 fruits, and calcium content in leaves, as well as on firmness extract, total sugars and the content of acids in fruit. A significant effect of NAA was found on the increase of calcium content in fruit. The highest calcium content occurred after applying NAA in latex paint. Moreover, a decrease in fruit pH was found after applying NAA in Funaben 3
