The relationship between leaf potassium and several parameters of fruit quality after storage has been studied. The percentages of total rotting and total incidence of physiological disorders after storage were inversely related to leaf K content. The lowest frequency of disorders was observed in fruits from trees showing leaf K content of about 1.2 percent on dry matter basis
