The efficiency of the gypsum, calcium chloride and sulphuric acid solution (single or combined) in the process of the saline sodic soil reclamation was studied on disturbed soil columns. The efficiency of these amendment materials was studied in connexion with soil permeability change or with exchangeable Na removal as well as the corellation of these ones with the leaching water quantity, leaching period and amendment material consumption. The combined use of the gypsum with CaCl2 or H2SO4 (the last one in case of calcareous soils) proved to be best in the reclamation of slight to moderate saline and strong alkaline soils
