Effect of different sources and doses of NPK fertilizers on nitrogen content in plant parts of sugarbeets grown in monoculture
1986
Milosevic, R. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Novi Sad (Yugoslavia))
In all plant parts of the sugarbeet, nitrogen content was the highest in the beginning of vegetation. Towards the end of vegetation, nitrogen content increased in the leaf petioles and laminae because of the appearance of young leaves. In the monoculture, with one variant which involves fertilization with 40 t/ha of manure and another with 40 kg/ha of manure and 100 kg/ha N, P2O5 and K2O, given as mineral fertilizer, the accumulation of nitrogen in the root is more intense towards the end of vegetation than in the variants with mineral fertilization.
