Bulls of the Slovak Pinzgau breed achieved the average daily weight gain 970 g in the fattening period of 493 days, the crossbreds of F10 generation 1,067 g in 485 days and the crossbreds of F1 generation 996 g in 483 days. Body dimensions were measured in the 90th day of age, then one time in 3 months and before slaughtering. Animal height, width and depth were measured by the Lydtin scale stick, circumference by a plastic meter and pelvis dimensions by the Wilkens pelvimeter. Up to 9th month of age no significant differences in 10 somatic dimensions were found (except for a half-circumference of buttocks). From that time on the clear exterior differentiation expressed by higher dimensional values of pelvis and height on withers in crossbreds was observed.
