Concentration of boron in soils and in some crops after a long-term application of increasing doses of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium
1990
Wrobel, S.
The results indicate that a long-term application of high doses of macroelements decreases the level of phytoavailable boron in the light (lessive) soil. Fertilization did not affect the boron phytoavailability in the heavy (delluvial) soil with good sorption properties and high level of total boron; a tendency of increasing the available boron level was even observed in the treatments with high doses of mineral fertilizers. The increase of Ca:B ratio in some plants indicated the lowering of boron phytoavailability under intensive fertilization with nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium
