Effect of reaction on sorption and desorption of humic acids labelled with isotope 14C in soils
1988
Nowak, G. (Akademia Rolniczo-Techniczna, Olsztyn (Poland))
Six soils differing in their content of colloid clay were used in this study. Sorption and desorption processes of humic acids in a model system were studied at different pH levels. The soils showed the highest sorption of 14C humic acids at pH 3 and the lowest at pH 6. The synthesis of clay-humic compounds not undergoing desorption by destilled water was the strongest in the pH range from 3 to 5 and at pH 8
