Effect of sulphur on chemical composition of sunflower and serradella

In pot experiment it was found that high sulphur rates (up to 1000 mg S/pot) had a positive effect on the yields of sunflower fertilized with high NPK levels. On the other hand, a high sulphur rate applied to serradella alleviated the negative effect of high NPK fertilization on the yields of that crop. The contents of total N, total S, and sulphate S in the crops increased along with increasing S rates
