In greenhouse experiments, after application of mineral nitrogen fertilizing, an increase of concentration (titre) in comparison to the unfertilized plants were obtained. PVX almost 3 times and PVY more than 3 times in tobacco plants of Samsun variety; PVM in tomato plants of Najwczesniejszy variety (Earliest of All) - 5 times; PVS in Leona potatoes - more than 2 times. The highest virus concentration (titre) were obtained after application of the following nitrogen fertilizer rates: 2 g of N per plant of tobacco variety Samsun infected with PVX or PVY, and the same rate for Najwczesniejszy tomato variety infected with PVM; and 3 g of N per plant of potato variety Leona infected with PVS. The yield of leaves from plants containing the highest virus concentration (titre) was higher than from unfertilized plants
