In a field experiment the content of microelements was investigated in green fodder of seven varieties of white clover cultivated for seeds. The level of components was differentiated in the particular years of studies particularly by the meteorological conditions, mainly by rain fall. The mean content of microelements for the investigated varieties was in the green fodder the following (mg/kg d.m.): Fe - 202; B - 64; Mn - 25; Zn - 20; Cu - 9. Differences between the varieties in the accumulation of microelements were variable for the particular components and they were most distincly revealed only in iron and partially in boron. The greatest uptake with the yield of green fodder reffered to iron (0.18-1.4 kg/ha) and boron (0.09-0.38 kg/ha). The sum of the mean uptake of components with the yield was 0.89 kg/ha, and this number included 65.3 percent of iron
