The effect of changing export policy from free trading to control and regulation policy caused the planted area decreased by 1.5 % by average, export demand and domestic prices at different market levels dropped down 6.86 % and 11-14 % respectively. But the control export policy stimulated the domestic demand for maize increased 17.21 % by average. The influence effects of world prices on area planted, domestic demand, export demand and prices of maize at different market levels. The indicated that the decreasing of farmer price of maize yellow grain No.2 traded in the world market at Chicago dropped down 10 %, caused the area devoted to maize production in Thailand declined in the same direction at 0.9 %, export demand went down by 1.23 % as well as 5.55-6.87 % decreased in maize prices at different domestic market levels, but caused the higher in domestic demand 6.87 % per annum by average.
