1987
Nakalemic, A. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Beograd (Yugoslavia)) | Mladenovic, K. | Soskic, S.
On the basis of a study on the Italian Riesling grapevine variety, the following has been established: 1. An increase in the plant load and the length of the cordons and arms had a positive effect on the number of shoots and grapes, and the grape yield per plant; 2. The grape yield was more dependent on the mass than on the number of grapes; 3. In variants with long arms having 12 buds, the vegetation potential of the plant weakened somewhat, which had a negative effect on the grape quality; 4. Mixed pruning, with arms 8-10 buds long and a load of about 40 buds per plant, is most suitable for the Italian Riesling variety.
