The purpose of thesis was to measure the effect of replacing corn by waste noodles, through feed consumption, live weight gain conversion efficiency, quality of porcine carcass, and also to evaluate the different diets through the economic indicator cattle kg cost. In the raising period 4 groups of 20 pigs were used, fed with different levels of waste noodles, corresponding to substitutions of 5, 10 and 15% and a control diet. During fattening, the same quantity of pigs and groups were used, having one control diet and the rest with replacements of 15, 20 and 25%. Experimental time was 40 days for each trial divided into 4 stages of 10 days each. Feed consumption in both periods was similar to controls during all the trial. Live weight gain during breeding period showed meaningful differences (P 0.05) between control groups and groups fed with 5% and 10% noodle diets, first results being obtained with the latter. Live weight gain relation ship during fattening was similar for all groups, and no meaningful differences were found (P 0.05). Feed conversion obtained both by controls and trial diets stayed at similar levels not showing important variations. Carcass quality was measured through dorsal fat thickness at the level of the last rib (P2), no meaningful differences were found for the 2 periods. It is concluded that it is feasible to replace corn by waste noodles at the levels indicated during breeding and fattening. Through the economic indicator corn of kg gained it was established that diets with higher percentages of waste noodles were the most economic, the most efficient ones being those with 15% replacement
