Study of maturing processes of pig ova incubated in vitro
1990
Koppany, A. | Wekerle, L. | Ven, E.
Ova from pig ovaries, collected in slaughterhouses were matured in vitro. In the first 10 investigations TMC-199 medium /Tissue Culture Medium, Sigma/ + 12 FCS /Foetal Calf Serum, Phylaxia/ + 2.99 mM Calciumlactat, Sigma + 1.2 g/1 NaHCO3, Sigma + Centamycin, Sigma as foster solutions were applied, and 44.6 o/o of the obtained ova proved suitable to fertilization. In a further 47 investigations, the MKRB. Modified Krebs-Ringer Bicarbonat Buffer, Sigma/ foster solution was used, in which 47 o/o of 497 ova proved suitable to fertilization. According to the results, the developing strength of embryos originating from in vitro fertilization, after in vitro maturing, decreased. This agrees with the foreign and domestic experiences.
