Since 1984, Indonesia had been facing an effort to conserve Sugar Self Sufficiency. It means that sugar consumption behaviours in Indonesia should be understood. This analysis aimed to provide information of household consumption behaviours by estimating demand elasticity with respect to income and demand elasticity with respect to price regarding the diseconomics and economics of scale phenomena. The result of the analysis shows that the income elasticity was 0.59, the price demand elasticity was - 0,412, economically sugar was not a luxury good and diseconomics or economics of scale phenomena was not significant in agregat consumption.
