The experiment had been conducted to know the respond of lamtoro gung seedlings growth after treatments to find out the optimal growth of those seedlings by determining the exact pH range and phosphate dosage. Factorial experiment was used. For inoculation factor, there were treatments with inoculation and without inoculation with Rhizobium. The liming dosage was 0 g; 0.866 g; 1.378 g. The TSP fertilizer application dosage was 0 g; 0.15 g; 0.255 g; 0.3 g. The treated seeds were then planted in 1 kg latosol soil which has been treated by liming and fertilizer. After 3 months seedlings were harvested and measured for their roots/shoot ratio, nodulation, total biomass and N content. The results of the experiment indicated that Rhizobium inoculation influenced the total number of nodules, but did not indicate the total amount of nitrogen which were fixed by Rhizobium bacteria. Optimal lamtoro gung seedling growth needs liming dosage around 0.866 g-1.693 g/1 kg soil and TSP dosage around 0.15 g - 0.3 g for nodulation. (author)
