[Study on the pollinating character of apple tree by honey bee and its utilization]

With researching on the honey bee of apple tree which are entomophilous plants, the number of pollinating flower per hectare, and the pollinating times, the working quantity of pollinating hive were found. By finding the pollinating character of honey bee, the working capacity of pollinating hive was calculated. The pollinating act of honey bee demonstrated that it depended on the number of hives, the distance from hives, the "domestication" of the honey bee, the temperature, the wind and the honey quantity of flowers. The technical and economical number of hives for pollination in apple tree per hectare was proved and quantitative rate of pollinating insects was studied in Korean natural condition
