The present invention relates to novel safened, sorptive granular pesticidal resin compositions comprising, as the active ingredient, 0,0-diethyl S-([1/1-dimethylethyl) thio] methyl) phosphorodithioate, 0,0-diethyl S-(ethyl-thiomethyl) phosphorodithioate or a pesticidal chemical wherein said technical grade of said pesticidal chemical has a dermal LD50, as measured on the rate or rabbits, of less than 50 mg/kg. The novel compositions of the present invention are characterized by markedly reduced mammalian toxicity. Further, the present invention also relates to a process for preparing the present safened granular pesticidal composition.
