The fungicide Delan 75 SC (dithianon) used throughout the entire season, controlled apple scab better than Captan and equally or better than fungicides based on dodine and slightly worse than Baycor 25 WP and Rubigan 12 EC. Delan 750 SC included into the spray schedule three times in the season before blooming showed higher efficacy than Captan, Dithane M 45 and Polyram Combi
