Investigation showed no detrimental effect of intensive mineral fertilization on the state of health of carp. Pathological changes in the organs of fish from fertilized ponds were 4 times less than those from control ponds. Among the mere 8 species of parasites observed, only the tapeworm Caryophylleus laticeps occurring in greater quantities
