Kaset tambon's problems affecting rubber intercropping promotion in Changwat Nakhon Sithammarat [Thailand]

Problems of delay delivery of materials necessary for demonstration plots and of limited budget for lodging, gas and allowances were well recognized and agreed by most KT (Kaset Tambon). Topographically suitable crop for intercropping in rubber plantation was upland rice, however, the crop of local demand was sweet corn. The result of agricultural comprehensive test taken by KT revealed that 57.1 % of KT obtained above the average score. It was found that KT's test results did not depend on information provided by provincial agricultural extension plots. Futhermore, more or less experiences before joining the DOAE did not involve in the failure of the extension plots.
