Seed of KUP 24D-084, KUP 24D-421, KUP 24D-615 and RCM387 were planted with the application of 5 combinations of fertilizer. Experiments were set for two planting seasons. The dry season planting began on January 10, 1986 and harvesting on May 20, 1986. The rainy season planting was on July 10, 1986 and harvesting on November 25, 1986. Result showed that the application of calcium, magnesium and sulphur in soil series does not affect peanut plant height, shelling percentage, seed weight, seed coat wrinkle as well as seed yield on the 4 peanut cultivars. Application of calcium magnesium and sulphur to peanut in dry season does not affect either germination percentage or seed vigor of the 4 peanut varieties. However, in the rainy season germination percentage and seed vigor of the 4 peanut varieties increased with the application of calcium, magnesium and sulphur. Seed with high calcium and phosphorus content had high germination percent and seed vigor while those high in potassium content had low germination percentage and low seed vigor.
