Highlights research work done by scientists on different aspects of banana production in Uganda under the on-going research on banana-based cropping systems. Aspects covered include; banana production, taxonomy of banana cultivars, effects of soil characteristics on crop yields for different cultivars, agricultural practices and the significance of chemical control on pests and weeds of bananas.
