1990
Kovacevic, V. | Juric, I. | Zugec, I. (Poljoprivredni institut, Osijek (Yugoslavia))
The disorders of plant growth, especially in case of maize and soybean, were appeared during early growth stages on some arable lands of Easter Croatia (Yugoslavia). For this reason, the field experiments of liming, as well as increased potassium and phosphorus fertilization, were conducted on a typical soil. In this work, the response of wheat plants on these ammeliorative treatments were shown. In general, the response of wheat was very low, while maize and soybean plants responded more effectively. For example, by the addition of 15 t of hydrated lime/ha, grain yield of wheat increased for 0.14 t/ha (4-year mean) compared with the control. The wheat plants did not respond on increased potassium and phosphorus fertilization.
