The influence of electrostatical field on the separation of waxes from vegetable oils

On the basis of the results obtained it can be concluded that the temperature decrease in the process of wax separation in the electrostatical field has a certain effect. It has been observed that in the temperature interval from 15 to 30'C, the content of separated waxes remains practically the same. Optimum temperature for wax separation, on the basis of preliminary measurements, would be 10-15'C. Wax separation from the analyzed oil has not caused a prominent change of colour but chemical analysis should provide further explanations.
