The task of this investigation was to determine the heritability parameters of milk quantity and especially to study the content of proteins as well as correlation between proteins and fats. Investigations were carried out with cows, crosses of the combined crossing with dairy cattle of Holstein-Friesian breed. Studies included 7 groups of half-sibs of sisters according to the sires of the Holstein-Friesian breed with a total of 69 animals and crosses with strong share of genes originating from the Holstein breed. The investigation included several characteristics of milking ability in standard lactations up to 305 days. There was established: the quantity of milk, milk fat and proteins in kg and contents of butterfat, proteins, fat and proteins and the relation of proteins and fats in percentages. The obtained results are presented in 5 tables, that is, 3 tables present all the characteristics according to the sires and the significance of differences among groups of half-sibs of sisters and analysis of the variance (F test); the other two tables present parameters of phenotypic and genetic correlation and heritability coefficients (h2).
