Drying effect of some al-hamar marshes soils on availability of phosphorus and zinc

Four samples were collected through growth stage (60 days) from soil and plants each 15 days. Corn plant (Zea mays L.) was used as plant indicators. The results showed that: a sharp decrease in phosphorus concentration after few hours was observed and the dicalcium phosphate dehydrate was formed in all soils which converted to less soluble phases, also different available phosphorus and zinc occurred in soil samples, corn responded highly to phosphorus and zinc additions, positive relationship occurred between phosphorus and zinc in plants tissue
