We compared eye fixation patterns when inspecting the three types of globe-shaped tree of Chamaecyparis obtusa Endl. var. breviramea MAST.: horizontally or vertically-elongated ellipses and a circle. The directions of eye fixation movements of most subjects follow the line of upsides. And, several subjects change the proportion of distance of eye fixation movements, and some of them change the proportion of eye fixation time according to the objects. Therefore, the eye fixation patterns for inspecting the different form of globe-shaped tree appear to be influenced by stages of a direction, and a distance of eye fixation movements, and a time of eye fixation
