Effect of hydroponic germination of triticale on phosphorus availability for chickens

An experiment on 60 broiler chickens fed a starter diet containing germinated triticale was carried out. The lower phytic P content by 53 percent with the respective increase of non-phytic P level in triticale grains after 54 h germination was stated. The higher bone ash deposition, and breaking strength as well as higher by 20 percent P availability in chickens fed diets containing germinated triticale than in control ones was stated
