Effect of a component level on the nutritive value estimation in a grass-clover green forages

The analysis of chemical composition of mixtures containing 25 or 75 percent of red clover was carried out. No influence of red clover and meadow fescue ratio in the mixture on the total protein and crude fibre content in green forage was stated. The effect of red clover content as well as the plant developmental stage on the energy value of the green forage was observed
