Thirteen hybrids, two open-pollinated varieties and SW 1 (MMS)C2F2 using as a check were tested for yield stability during rainy season 1987. Treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications at each location. Individual plot consisted of 4 rows of 6.4 m. long with the spacing of 75 cm. between rows and 25 cm. between plants. Plants were thinned to 1 plant per hill. Data were statistically analyzed employing method discribed by Eberhart and Russell (1966). The experiments were conducted in different environments named Nakhon Sawan field Crops Research Center, Phraputhabath Field Crops Experiment Station, Banmaisamrong Field Crops Experiment Station, Srisumrong Field Crops Experiment Station, Phisanulok Field Crops Experiment Station, Loei Field Crops Experiment Station, Chiang Mai Field Crops Research Center, Chainat Field Crops Research Center, Suphanburi Field Crops Research Center and National Corn and Sorghum Research Center. CARG 602, AC 9302, KTX 2602, CS 8604 and UNI 5 produced consistently high yield over the tested environments. The SW 1 (MMS)C2F2 (check) adapted well to unfavorable environments.
