Genetic parameters, inter-relationship and path-coefficients were studied in fifteen genotypes of oleiferous Brassica. Highest genotypic variations were obtained from number of siliqua/plant (1065.31). Heritability values in broad sense were high for number of siliqua/plant (97.36) and number of branch/plant (93.56). Maximum genetic advance in percentage of mean were recorded from the number of branch/plant (49.14) and number of siliqua/plant (48.90). Significant positive correlation was found for days to flowering with yield. Highest direct positive effect was obtained from the number of siliqua/plant and days to flowering on seed yield. The study suggested that days to flowering, number of siliqua/plant and number of branch/plant were the most important yield contributing characters and attempt should be made for effective selection on those characters.
