The present study was undertaken to analyze the business performance of a sample of 60 farms in a selected area of Bangladesh. Farm business consisted of crops, livestock and miscellaneous (horticultural crops, hiring out labour enterprises). Among them, crop enterprise represented the single major source of income. The residual method of analysis revealed a positive value of management income which indicated that the farms had, on the whole, a satisfactory level of performance.
