An estimation of sea cucumber (Holothuria spp.) stock potency have been conducted in Waisisil beach within a period of October 25-29,1988. Using s quadrat sampling method, an area of 25 x 45 m2 was divided into 60 plots. The result showed that 4 species were found in that area. The population was dominated by sand sea cucumber (Holothuria scabra) with a specific density of 0,88/m2. This species of teripang showed a random distribution pattern with an isometric length-weight relationship of W = 0,0668 L 3,1605 (r = 0,9398). Considering the size, the number of the species as well as the environmental condition, Waisisil beach is possibly as a nursery ground for sand sea cucumber. The area seems to be suitable for culture of sand sea-cucumber
