Effect of microelement fertilization on the yields of horse-beans as related to magnesium fertilization and soil liming

A mixture of boron, molybdenum and manganese applied in the form of solution at the beginning of flower bud formation in horse-beans, especially when connected with magnesium fertilization and soil liming, showed a positive effect on the yield of seeds and protein per unit of superficy. The increase of the yield of seeds, therefore also that protein, resulted from a distinct tendency to increase the number of pods as well as from a statistically significant increase of the number of seeds per plant and of the mass of seeds. Fertilization with microelements and magnesium influenced an improvement of biological value of seeds and protein through the increase of content of some amino acids
