Spring (K1+) and autumn (K1) fry were used in the experiment deltamethrin concentration being 1 x 10 exp(-4) mg dm exp (-3) and 1 x 10 exp (-5) mg dm exp (-3). Besides, a part of fish of each series were transferred to pure water following intoxication. It was found that the carps K1+ were more susceptible to deltamethrin. Values of maximum increase in the activity of TAT in the liver were decidedly higher in fish K1+ than in K1, at both deltamethrin concentrations. The highest increase in the enzyme activity was observed in fish K1+ after 24 hrs of intoxication at 1 x 10 exp (-4) dm exp (-3). Fry K1+ had also more distinct tendency to normalize the TAT activity with increasing time exposure
