Utilization of bovine liquid manure for manuring purposes

Investigations of utilization of bovine liquid manure supplemented with mineral phosphorus for manuring of red and Persian clover were carried out in the years 1980-83 in the Agricultural Experiment Station near Bydgoszcz. The results were compared with those obtained for the equivalent fertilization. Evaluation of the application of liquid manure was performed as determination of the effect of it on total nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and total carbon content in soil surface layer of 0-25 cm. Bovine liquid manure supplemented with mineral phosphorus applied for manuring of red and Persian clover beneficially influenced the determined soil properties. Sanitary, economic and natural reasons support the idea of utilization of liquid manure for manuring purposes
