The long-term fertilization with N, P, K, Mg fertilizers (14 years) had a negative effect on most of the observed soil indices. pH-value in the soil solution decreased under the influence of fertilization. Initially the humus content in soil was well-balanced, later it decreased. The concentrations of nitrogen, potassium and magnesium had the falling tendency in turf soil. On the contrary, the concentration of phosphorus slowly increased. The effect of these changes on the content of nutrients in the feed was also studied. In some cases the decrease of the concentrations below the limit of physiological requirements of animals occurred.
