Red snappers (Lutjanus argentimaculatus) of initial weight range 0.69-0.71 g were reared in 250 cubic cm glass aquaria fitted with a closed recirculating system. The experiment comprised 4 treatments with 3 replications each. Four diet formulae were tested viz minced fish, minced fish supplemented with 0.5 and 1 % vitamin, and moist pellets. The experimental period was 2 months. Fish fed moist pellets gave the best growth, FCR and survival rate. Boby composition analyses showed a slightly higher protein content and a significantly lower fat content in fish in treatment 4 (fed moist pellet) than in those of other treatments.
