Molasses distillery stillage from six factories from Khon Kaen, Cholburi, Chaiyapum, Saraburi, Surin and Ayutaya were compared in terms of their physical properties and plant nutrient element. Determination of Ca, Na and K were carried out using flame photometry. Atomic absorption spectrophotometry was used throughout for the determination of Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg and Mn. The P, S and Cl were analysed using spectrophotometry as well as gravimetric techniques. Total nitrogen contents were obtained by Kjeldahl method. Molasses distillery stillage contained serveral important elements for plant. However, the acidity and high nitrogen content were noted properties. Direct utilization of molasses distillery stillage as plant food supplement proved unsatisfactory which could be the effect of high acidity.
